Dental Assistant Evening Students Give Harris the Thumbs Up!

At Wilmington, students from the Professional Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Massage Therapy programs get ready to start their new careers.

Did you know that most of our campuses offer evening classes? The two women in this picture are successful and hard-working students in the evening division of the Dental Assistant training program at the Wilmington Campus.

Dental Assistant TrainingBrittany Taylor (left) is well on the way to beginning her new career path. Before she began her externship, she sat for her DANB Radiology Certification, and thanks to her hard work, she passed! Certification is an excellent way to demonstrate to potential employers your commitment to your new career field. And for Brittany, getting certified paid off. It wasn’t long before her externship position became a real job!

Shantaya Morris (right) is also a part of the dental assistant training program, and according to Mary McAleese, director of Career Services at the Wilmington campus, “Shantaya has great spirit and dedication.” She is shown here at the pinning ceremony, where students receive recognition for completing their coursework.

The Wilmington campus is proud of these two students, and of all the students at Harris School. At Wilmington, students can choose among three programs: Massage Therapy, Dental Assistant, and Professional Medical Assistant. Both day and evening classes are available. Why not check it out, and see if a Harris education is the right path for you!
