CNA Training:  Certified Nurses Aide Program at Harris

This program is not currently enrolling.

Would you like to be part of the nursing field? Do you like the idea of helping patients? If so, you might want to become a certified nurses aide (CNA). Many people find that becoming a CNA is a great way to start out in the field of nursing.  Harris School of Business offers a CNA Training program at our Danbury, CT campus.

What do CNAs do? Certified nurses aides are responsible for helping patients with basic care. The job of a CNA might include helping a patient get up to take a walk, assisting a patient in getting dressed, or providing help as a patient eats.

Certified nurses aides are also called certified nursing assistants. CNAs usually work in a hospital, nursing home, long-term care home, or other healthcare facility under the supervision of a registered nurse. Because CNAs work so closely with the patients, they can often develop strong bonds with their patients, making the work very rewarding.

The Certified Nurses Aide program at the Harris School of Business is geared to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in this field. The CNA classes are designed to prepare successful students for the Connecticut Nurses Aide state exam.

If you want to be part of a helping profession such as nursing, the CNA training program at Harris could be a good fit for you.
