Harris School of Business offers hands-on career programs in a wide variety of health care careers. Each of these career programs can be completed in less than a year if taken full-time during the day, allowing you to start your new career in less time than you think!

Dental Assistant

This program gives students a background in dental anatomy, pathology, and terminology, and includes the study of dental materials and chairside assisting techniques.

Health Claims Specialist

Processing insurance claims for healthcare facilities is important to work. In this program, students are trained in medical terminology, insurance forms, diagnostic codes, procedural codes, and procedures for processing medical claims.


Massage Therapy

The hands-on courses immerse the students in the classical massage techniques along with advanced therapeutic procedures and soft tissue manipulation.

Medical Assistant

This program is designed to provide students with strong foundations in patient care procedures and theory, medical office administration, and communication skills necessary for thorough, successful integration into any medical office.

Professional Medical Assistant

This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, patient care procedures, pharmacology, medical office procedures, communication skills, as well as computer skills.

Multi-Skill Health Technician

This program is designed to prepare students in all phases of cardiovascular technology, as well as phlebotomy by obtaining blood samples by capillary or venipuncture of individuals.


Surgical Technology

Students will study all aspects within the field of perioperative services, including medical law and ethics, pharmacology, sterilization, anatomy and physiology, anesthesia, instrumentation, and procedures within the medical specialties.
