There's nothing like real-world experience to give you the confidence you will need on the job.
Once you've completed your program, you get the chance to use your new skills in a professional setting by completing an externship or internship, depending on your program. You'll work in a real office or medical setting, under the supervision of qualified staff members. Along with a sense of accomplishment, you will have an experience you can list on your resume. Sometimes, Harris graduates even get job offers from their extern site.
