You will assist physicians with collecting and handling blood samples. You will interact with patients, and be involved in various aspects of patient care. Depending on the size of the practice you join, you might undertake both administrative and clinical responsibilities. You would work with physicians, nurses, other health practitioners, administrators, and office staff members.
The Multi-Skilled Health Technician program at Harris School of Business is designed to prepare students in all phases of cardiovascular technology, as well as phlebotomy by obtaining blood samples from patients by capillary or venipuncture.
