At Harris School, we put you and your future career front and center. Starting with your initial admissions interview, our admissions representatives will work with you to determine how your unique set of skills might best be focused in one of our programs. Once you are enrolled in the right program for you, every course will offer you the chance to gain subject matter expertise and real-world job skills. For example, you might learn how to use medical equipment, work with a patient, or work with other office professionals. Or you might learn how to use applications like Microsoft Word and Excel, and the software being used in your future workplace, whether that's in health care, business, or the legal field.
Once you've completed your program, you'll take part in an externship where you will work in a professional office or medical setting. Our career advisors will help you develop a job search strategy, a winning resume and interview skills. We'll even put you through a mock interview so you're fully prepared for the real thing.
After You Graduate
And we're always here for you after you graduate, too. If you want to come back for a tune-up, as long as you graduated in good standing, our Career Services advisors will work with you to hone and refine your skills and search process.
