Pharmacy Technician

Employment opportunities in healthcare related fields continue to grow like never before. This includes the growing need for Pharmacy Technicians who are trained to assist Pharmacists in providing medication and other health care products to patients. Being a Pharmacy Technician is a great place to start for those interested in a pharmaceutical career.

Working as a Pharmacy Technician gives graduates the type of background that would be helpful to become a pharmacist or work elsewhere in the pharmaceutical industry. The increased number of middle-aged and elderly people (who use more prescription drugs than younger people) will spur demand for technicians. In fact, the Department of Labor projects Pharmacy Technician to be one of the fastest-growing careers in America.*
